A London-based company is hiring an “InstaScout” to travel and take pictures around the United Kingdom and Europe.

Perfocal, an online company that lets customers book photographers on-demand, has posted a job advertisement for a photography location manager. The job entails scouting for picture-perfect or “Instagram-worthy” locations that photographers can use for their photoshoots.

The “InstaScout” will be working with photographers affiliated with Perfocal to find the best places that will meet customers’ photoshoot requirements. Through this, the “Instascout” will help reduce the workload of photographers and allow them to focus on taking photos.

Perfocal hopes that the “InstaScout” can particularly help social media influencers.  An influencer is a person who promotes and recommends products and services on social media sites, such as the photo- and video-sharing site Instagram.

Perfocal’s “InstaScout” will have an annual salary of around $63,000. All expenses related to the job, such as accommodations, food, and other travel costs, will be shouldered by the company.

Interested applicants do not have to be photography-savvy to apply. However, they need to be attentive to details and have a strong sense of style. Having good research skills is also important, since part of the job is looking for unique and never-before-seen places.

Apart from these, applicants also need a valid passport and a UK driver’s license. They should also be willing to go on long trips. Because of the job’s travel component, speaking other European languages fluently is an advantage.
