Hi! I am Amie Salao and I am a licensed teacher here in the Philippines. Over the past years, I have focused my teaching on General Education for grade school and am also teaching English to high school students. I find teaching and speaking English not just a mere task but something that people can have fun with. Conversing in English is easy, and it is evident with my children who are all speaking it as their first language. I can converse about a lot of topics that range from household issues, relationships, finance, politics and even religion. I love reading both fiction and non-fiction stories. In addition to that, I like to cook and bake and sometimes, even garden. I currently tutor during weekdays and I find it a very rewarding profession as I see my students learn each day from the lessons we have. With the opportunity that is offered, I know that I will be able to not only share what I know about conversational English but also learn a few Japanese phrases that might be useful in the future.
