Use be going to (verb) to talk about future plans.
be going to+動詞 を使って、これからの計画について話すことができます。-
- He’s going to take a tour of Osaka.
- 彼は大阪へ旅行する予定です。
- They’re going to get married next month.
- 彼らは来月結婚する予定です。

You can also use be going to (verb) to talk about forecasts or predictions.
be going to＋動詞 は、予測や予言を表すこともできます。 -
- We’re going to arrive at 10 p.m.
- 私たちは午後10時に到着予定です。
- I’m going to pass the exam.
- 私は試験に合格するでしょう。

TRIVIA
You can call someone’s 30th birthday the big 3-0 (“three-oh”). Similarly, you can call someone’s 40th and 50th birthdays the big 4-0 (“four-oh”) and the big 5-0 (“five-oh”). These birthdays are special because they mark a new decade in someone’s life.
