To ask about the subject of a sentence, add the wh- word before the verb.
文の主語についてたずねる場合、wh-疑問詞を動詞の前に置きます。

To ask about the object of a do-verb sentence, add the wh- word and did before the subject. Remember to change the original verb to its dictionary form.
一般動詞の文の目的語についてたずねる場合、主語の前に wh-疑問詞と did を置きます。動詞を原形に変えることを忘れないようにしましょう。

To ask about the predicate noun of a be-verb sentence, add the wh- word to the beginning of the question and switch the subject-verb order.
